The oral history program at OHS was established in 1976 to create, collect, and preserve sound-recorded documentation of Oregon history. Special emphasis upon four main areas of enquiry - law and government, business and labor - is balanced in the program by awareness of the obligation to record all aspects of Oregon history and culture.
