The Portland Youth Philharmonic, founded in 1924, is America's first established youth orchestra. Musicians range in age from 12-23 and come from throughout Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington. They perform throughout the state and four-times a year in the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall.
